Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation will host its eighth annual Healthy Angels Ride, a motorcycle ride fundraiser, Saturday, Aug. 25. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Cass Regional Medical Center, 2800 E. Rock Haven Rd., Harrisonville. Departure is 9 a.m. Proceeds from the 100-mile ride will benefit the Patient Assistance Fund, which is used to assist disadvantaged patients with specific needs related to their care, such as medicine, home care supplies and transportation. Entry fee is $25 for a single rider, or $40 for a rider and a passenger. Passengers must be 6 years old or older. Fee includes lunch and giveaways. The first 150 entrants will receive a free pin, and the first 200 will receive a T-shirt. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, dice roll and raffle drawing.
