The children of Francis Patrick, a former teacher, presented the Sherwood Music Department with a special gift, a contribution in their mother’s name. Patrick, who died Feb. 18, 2011, was a huge supporter of the Sherwood Music Department, she rarely if ever, missed a music concert. Rosemarie Gretzinger Sherwood band director said that plans for the contribution are undecided at this time, but that the music department is very excited and grateful for the family’s support.
