Sherwood High School senior Loren Conner has been selected as the recipient of the Terry Lee Scott and the Blairstown and Urich Community Scholarships. The Terry Lee Scholarship is based on academic achievement, school and community activities, work experience and character. The Blairstown and Urich Community Scholarship was an essay on “why are you continuing your education and how you plan to use your education and training.” Both scholarships awards are $500 each. Conner will be attending Missouri Valley College where she will also be receiving a softball scholarship. She will be majoring in art education with a minor in graphic design. Conner is daughter of Kelly and Toni Conner of Blairstown. From left: Debbie Leonard presents the scholarships to Loren Conner.
