MoDOT repairing Cass County bridges

MoDOT opened the second of five Cass County Safe and Sound structures to be replaced this year.

Route Y bridge over Massey Creek opened late May 9, following a delay related to barrier height. Once the issue was corrected and approved, the highway opened to traffic.

On May 8, MoDOT closed Route E bridge in Strasburg. The bridge replacement will take about four weeks.

Next up for closure will be Route N bridge over Walnut Creek near Garden City, which is scheduled for closure on May 21. The final bridge set for replacement is Route B over the Grand River east of Archie, which will close June 18, weather permitting.
