The City of Raymore and the Raymore Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony for Burleson Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, located in the Remington commercial area, May 14.
Opening its doors for business in Raymore this past winter, this dental facility is an expansion office for Dustin and Amy Burleson, a husband and wife team who practice orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, respectively.
Dustin Burleson opened his initial orthodontics office in North Kansas City six years ago and, at the urging of several dentist friends in the area, decided to expand his practice into Cass County to better serve an area short on full-time dental specialists.
For the pediatric dentistry side of the Raymore office, Amy Burleson offers primary and specialty oral care services fro kids from the time of their first tooth coming in all the way to age 18. The orthodontics side of the practice specializes in tooth and jaw alignments, usually through braces or the Invisalign system. Dustin Burleson also performs nasoalveolar molding, a non-surgical treatment for shaping the gums, lip and nostrils before cleft lip and palate surgery.
