Beautiful Savior annouces new rehabilitation therapy services

ReprintBeautiful Savior Home in Belton announced that is has selected Aegis Therapies to provide rehabilitation therapy services to their residents – including physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Individual treatment plans and restorative nursing programs are developed so that each resident is afforded maximum opportunity to attain their highest possible level of independence.
In addition to rehabilitation therapy following surgery or accidents, Aegis also will focus on four programs that address problem areas common to seniors:
Falls and Balance: Integrated team approach often uncovers less obvious conditions that may affect resident safety.
Complex Disease Management: Special assessments and practical care planning is designed for residents whose medical state complicates their functional deficits.
Dementia Management: By identifying what a resident can do, therapists are able to treat residents’ strengths to maximize function and safety.
Continence Management: Exercises and behavioral changes help residents regain bladder control.
When patients are released from therapy,. Aegis therapists visit the home to evaluate the environment for obstacles to safety.
