Bright Futures to collect hygiene items
Bright Futures Harrisonville is asking visitors to this weekend’s Burnt District Festival to help fill a need. Through the Rub-A-Dub & Grub campaign, Bright Futures will be collecting hygiene items and non-perishable food for children in the Harrisonville community.
Hygiene items needed include shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, female hygiene items, etc.
Non-perishable food items should be individual portioned and could include fruit cups, veggie cups, microwavable soups/meals, granola bars, cereal bars, peanut butter crackers, oatmeal, etc.
Bright Futures Harrisonville is a new initiative that strives to help students achieve success by matching student needs with resources through partnerships between the schools and the community.
