Nine Harrisonville Middle School students were selected for a regional honor choir.

Caleb Eddy, Aaron Prindle, Dawson Dickey, Samantha Mackay, Abigail Gibler, Eleanore Dick, Jessica Reece, Britney Kingman and Micaela Roberts participated in the 29th annual All-District Junior High Honor Choir held on the campus of University of Central Missouri.

HMS is allowed to bring nine students to participate in this event. The students were selected based on audition scores.

Thirty-five school districts with a total of 247 students participated in this event. The singers rehearsed approximately six hours with their clinician Kevin Holbert, professor of music at State Fair Community College. At the end of the event, they presented a concert.
