Man killed in Harrisonville shooting

Eldon Campbell Jr., 60, identified as victim

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man killed in an evening shooting Nov. 29.

Cass County Sheriff Deputies were called to the 27000 block of S. East Outer Road in Harrisonville just before 10 p.m. in reference to a shooting.

Eldon E. Campbell, Jr., 60, of Harrisonville, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators have identified a person of interest, and that person was also transported to an area hospital. Their name and condition has not been released.

No charges have been filed at this time.
