Ray-Pec school board candidate filing opens

ReprintFiling begins Tuesday, Dec. 11, for two Raymore-Peculiar school board seats up for election on April 2, 2013.
There are two positions available with three-year terms. Board members whose terms expire in 2013 are Leo Anderson and Joe Anthuis.
Persons interested in running for a position on the school board may file at the superintendent’s offices, located at 21005 S. School Rd., Peculiar, MO 64078.
Filing will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, and will continue on regular business hours, and ending at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. Filing will not occur on days that the school district offices are closed due to inclement weather or on these holidays when the district offices are closed: Monday, Dec. 24, Tuesday, Dec. 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 1.
