Peculiar woman killed in one-vehicle accident

ReprintA 22-year-old Peculiar woman died due to injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident Saturday, Dec. 8
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded the accident at 7:15 a.m. on Peculiar Drive near 195th Street, in Peculiar.
The Cass County Crash Reconstruction Team reported to believe that the 2006 Honda Accord driven by Karissa D. Price was northbound on Peculiar Drive approaching the east junction of 195th Street when it began to skid out of control, ran off the right side of the roadway, and overturned several times.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected.
Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
