<span class="subhead"><b>Pleasant Valley Homemakers</span></b></p><p>Pleasant Valley Homemakers met Dec. 6 at the home of Linda Reece. Club president Carole Raynes opened the meeting. Jeanette Bartles gave the devotional, a reading &#x93;The World is Mine. Give the Gift of Love-It never comes back empty.&#x94; The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved and a treasurer&#x92;s report was given. Roll call was &#x93;A Christmas Memory.&#x94; </p><p>Bartles gave the information she had on the adopted family she chose for our club. Several gifts were already purchased and members agreed to pickup the other items they had requested. It was a wonderful display of love and generosity for a mom and three boys for their Christmas.</p><p>Linda Wyant was thanked for the beautiful name tags she had made for the Quarterly Council meeting on Dec. 5 at Harrisonville Christian Church. That nice meeting was attended by two of our members.</p><p>Secret Pals were revealed with surprises all around. New names were drawn for 2013.</p><p>Our next meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Harrisonville Community Center. Karen Roberts will be hostess.
