<span class="subhead"><b>Pleasant Valley Homemakers</span></b></p><p>Pleasant Valley Homemakers met Feb. 7 at Diamond Ray&#x92;s for our meal and meeting.</p><p>Club president, Carole Raynes, opened the meeting by leading in the pledge to the flag. Jo Ann Swearengin gave the devotional, a reading &#x93;Hugs.&#x94; Members then exchanged homemade Valentines for roll call. Linda Reece then presented each member with a beautiful small hand-crocheted cross.</p><p>The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved and a treasurer&#x92;s report was given.</p><p>Announcement was made of the Quarterly Council Meeting/Salad Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at University of MO Extension Center, 201 W. Wall St.</p><p>Raynes then asked for suggestions for our annual club Spring Trip in June.</p><p>The program of the day was led by Linda Wyant, a game called the Budget Bean Game.</p><p>Our next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Harrisonville Community Center.</p><p>Reece won the hostess gift.
