<span class="subhead"><b>Clay Potters Garden Club</span></b></p><p>Clay Potters Garden Club met Dec. 10, 2012, at the home of David and Deb Jensen. Club President Bernie Zeller opened the meeting by leading in the pledge to the flag. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved and a treasurer&#x92;s report was given by Debbie Lehman.</p><p>Zeller presented a darling silver dragonfly to Patty Weaver for all the extra work she had done to keep the Butterfly Garden so nice this very dry past summer and also a garden club statuette to Jo Ann Swearengin for her work at the Veterans Memorial. Zeller was presented a gift book &#x93;Mary&#x92;s Gardens,&#x94; by Judy Manning.</p><p>Cindy Keesler and Denise Grow will be co-chairmen of the 2013 flower show, which will be in October at the Burnt District Festival.</p><p>A lovely holiday meal followed that was enjoyed by all members and guests present. The ornament exchange was the usual highlight of the evening with some very interesting and unusual items.</p><p>Our next meeting, after a cold and snowy winter break, will be Monday, March 11, at the home of David and Deb Jensen for a Butterfly Box workshop.
