<span class="subhead"><b>Wenstrand-Houdek</span></b></p><p>John and Teresa Wenstrand, of Red Oak, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kassie Wenstrand, to David Houdek, son of Paul and Brenda Houdek, of Harrisonville. The future bride is a 2011 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, where she earned a bachelor&#x92;s degree in biology. She is currently employed as a laboratory analyst at Midwest Laboratories. </p><p>The future groom attended Northwest Missouri State University and is attending Southeast Community College, where he plans to graduate from in June 2013. </p><p>Following their Saturday, Oct. 12, nuptials in Red Oak, Iowa, the couple will reside in Omaha, Neb.
