The Jackson County Medical Examiner&#x2019;s Office has positively identified the body found in a burned and partially submerged car March 18.&#xA0; </p><p>The vehicle was discovered in the Bittern Bottoms Conservation Area near Harrisonville on Monday afternoon.</p><p>The victim has been identified as 27-year-old George Wood of Belton.</p><p>At this time, law enforcement officials believes there are no indications of foul play.&#xA0; </p><p>According to investigators, it could take several weeks for a final report on lab and forensics test.&#xA0; </p><p>Detectives are awaiting complete test results from the Medical Examiner&#x2019;s Office before making a final determination on the cause of death.</p><p>Because of the nature of the incident, deputies contacted the Kansas City Crime to assist in the investigation.</p><p>Bittern Bottoms Conservation Area is located at E. 307th Street, near DD Highway, in southwest Harrisonville.
