The Glorified Homemakers Extension Club

The Glorified Homemakers Extension Club met at the extension office April 9. The meeting was opened by President Sue Pulliam with the pledge to the flag.

Roll Call was answered with “What Room You Would Like to DeClutter.” Sandra Collings gave a devotional titled, “Sharing Memories,” by Helen Steiner Rice. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Treasurer’s report was also given.

An interesting program was given by Collings titled, “DeClutter Your Life: Getting Rid of MidLife Clutter.”

Pulliam and Goldie Cunningham took donated items from last month to Hope Haven. They were very appreciative of them.

The Spring Fling was discussed and it was 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 17 at the extension office. Patty Anderson won the door prize. Sandy Young will be hostess next month and Katrine Cummins will be co-hostess. Pulliam and Collings served refreshments to Cunningham, Anderson, Carol Witherspoon, Cummins, and themselves.
