The Harrisonville United Methodist Church Relay for Life team will host a pancake/sausage breakfast 7-10 a.m., Saturday, April 27, at the chuch’s RCLC.

One Act Capstone
Calvary Bible College is hosting a One Act Capstone Festival 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, in the Liberty Chapel, 15790 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City. The performance will feature two theatre seniors directing and producing a one act festival. Cost is $5.

Bright Futures breakfast
The community is invited to a breakfast benefiting Bright Futures Harrisonville. The Cass County Elks Lodge will host the breakfast on Sunday, April 28, from 8:30-11:00 a.m.
The price for breakfast is $6 which will include bacon or sausage, eggs to order, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Coffee is free; milk and juice is $1.00 each.
The Belton Historical Society will hold its quarterly meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Belton Presbyterian Church, 122 Main St., This will be an especially entertaining meeting, as the society will be hosting the Bluegrass Missourians, an award-winning five-piece bluegrass group.
Everyone is invited to come to the meeting and learn about the history of bluegrass, as well as hear some wonderful music from these accomplished musicians.
Archie Early Childhood Center Enrollment Day

Food pantry giveaway
Grace Christian Tabernacle, 709 S. Butler Dr., Harrisonville, will be giving away food from 4-6 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month and from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month.

Raymore Historical Society meeting
The Raymore Historical Society meets the second Tuesday each month at 7 p.m. in the museum located in the lower level of the Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore. The May 14, 2013 meeting will feature Janet Miller portraying Carolyn Scott Harrison, wife of President William Harrison. All are welcome to attend. The museum is ADA accessible.
Number Nine, District 35 of Cass County, School Reunion for all classes will be Saturday, May 18, at Sycamore Grove Mennonite Church, 27221 S. Sycamore Grove Rd., Garden City.

The community is invited to participate in the first-ever Harrisonville Middle School Wildcat Run Wednesday, May 22. The event will benefit the HMS physical education department.
The event will feature a 5K which begins and ends at Harrisonville Middle School. Registration for the 5K is $20 and the pre-registration deadline is Friday, May 3. However, participants may register up to the day of the race for an additional $5 per person.
All pre-registrants will receive a race T-shirt. Sponsorships for the Wildcat Run are available.
Sponsorship levels begin at $100 for a White Sponsor. Royal Blue Sponsorships are $500 and True Wildcat Sponsorships are $1,000.
Prizes will be awarded for top finishers in each grade as well as top fundraisers for each grade. Registration forms are available online or at Harrisonville Middle School, 601 S. Highland. Race-day registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
