Pyro City Fun Night
The public is invited to a Family Fun Night at Pryo City at 7 p.m. in Harrisonville. The event includes free games, food and giveaways. Fireworks safety demonstrations will be given, and a fireworks shoot-off at dusk.
The public is invited to join Post 4409 for food, fun, games and prizes at the Veterans Family and Friends Appreciation Day from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Shelter No. 7 in Harrisonville City Park.
Barbecue, hot dogs, sides and desserts will be served.

The Creighton School Annual Reunion will be Sunday, June 23, at the Community Building. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will follow at noon. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations not required.

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 67 Service Officer of Butler will be at the Cass County Public Library, 400 E. Mechanic St., Harrissonville, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, June 24, to assist veterans in applying for their benefits.

The Community Blood Center, the provider of blood services to local hospitals, will be conducting a blood drive 1-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Foxwood Springs, 1500 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore.

The Know Your Watershed Festival, sponsored by the South Grand River Watershed Alliance in partnership with the City of Harrisonville, and the Missouri Department of Conservation, will be held 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 29, on the Harrisonville Square. Charity Motorcycle Ride for HELP Humane
HELP Humane is hosting a 2 Wheels 4 Paws fundraising event Saturday, June 29. The ride begins at Rawhide Harley Davidson in Olathe, Kan. and will stop in Belton at the shelter, and will finish in Louisburg, Kan. Kickstands up at 11 a.m.
After-party to include Jack Stack BBQ, raffle contest and live musical entertainment. Cost is $25 per rider, and includes food and after-party events.
