Golden Anniversary

Harrel and Sue Curtis

Harrel and Sue Curtis are happy to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 1. Harrel and Sue were married in Harrison, Ark., in 1963. Harrel was a school teacher in Deer, Ark., for five years before moving to Harrisonville, where he taught biology for 28 years. Sue is the owner of Sue Curtis Tax Service.

They have two children, Dena (Kevin) Spannagel, of Kansas City, and Anita (Jim) Walker, of Creighton; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

You are invited to come celebrate at a reception given by the children 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, at Harrisonville Community Center, 2400 Jefferson Pkwy., Cass Room. No gifts, please.
