Oriental Garden, 1260 W Foxwood Dr., Raymore. July 23. Complaint Inspection. Received complaint on July 19 that the restaurant has roaches all over and the owners and employees are using RAID insect spray to kill them. Upon arrival informed owner about the complaint. Conducted a visual inspection of rooms and equipment. No insects were noted. Owner was instructed that he must have a pest control company contracted for routine pest control before next routine inspection.

Roosters, 100 South 7 Hwy, Pleasant Hill. July 22. Complaint Inspection. Complaint received about cockroaches in establishment and smell in establishment. No cockroaches were observed at time of investigation. There were a few dead insects in kitchen and some old mouse droppings on unused refrigerator in kitchen on right side. Debris buildup on sections of kitchen floor by equipment and by soda boxes. Spoke to the owner and he stated that he had not seen any cockroaches. Owner does not have a pest control operator service establishment at a regular interval, but calls a pest control operator when he sees an issue.

Owner stated that kitchen had not been used but is being cleaned up to use again. All cleaning issues must be corrected and will be checked again on next routine inspection. Recommend owner have a pest control operator service establishment monthly as a preventive measure against pests.
