•Â The Ice-Cream Social went just great despite the hot weather. The ice cream and desserts were served inside because of the weather. We had an enormous crowd. The quilt show inside the church also was a big hit. There were around 20 or more quilts. Hopefully next year we can fill all the benches. Thanks to Jim Vanordstrand for getting the people together to play music. It sounded very good and we really appreciated it. Thanks to all who worked very hard at the church to make this a wonderful time.

•Â I would like to thank everyone for making the quilt show such a success. Hopefully next year we will have a quilt to raffle off.

•Â My daughter in-law April brought my grandkids Nathan, Abby and Emma over to the Ice-Cream Social. They enjoyed it very much.

•Â Sharon January brought her Aunt Chloris to the Ice-Cream Social and Bob and Lori Lyon took her home. She had seven quilts that she had made with her.

•Â The Dorr family made it to their new home in South Africa. They are on a five-year missionary trip. I will try to keep you informed of their journey.
