A valid food handler card or copy is not provided for seven employees on schedule. Corrective action: A reinspection will be made in 30 days to recheck food handler cards. Non-critical violations: 4.

Quik Break No. 3, 101 Cherry Hill Dr., Belton. Sept. 23. Follow up Inspection. In Essential Compliance. Walk-in refrigerator storing milk was able to achieve 41 degrees. Critical violation corrected. As this is the top of the temperature range, recommend turning refrigerator down further. Pizzas are continuing to be time-marked when using time as a control. No further reinspections are required.

Hot water is not available at front of the left handwashing sink. Corrective action: Per manager, school maintenance has been working to fix the problem. Do not use sign placed above sink. Employees instructed to use other nearby handwashing sinks. Debris build-up noted around ice chute. Corrective action: Manager shut down ice machine and ordered inside cleaned and sanitized. Per manager, unit was supposed to be cleaned/ sanitized per school maintenance. Non-critical violations: 1.

Person in charge and only person on duty at time of inspection does not have a valid food handler card. Person in charge does not know where establishment keeps records of food handler cards or copies for all employees. Corrective action: Employee must obtain a valid food handler card in 30 days and management must have a valid food handler card or copy available to check for all employees on schedule. Critical violations: 5. 1.Debris build-up noted in soda fountain heads, nozzles/filters are clean. 2. Debris build-up noted in ice machine on deflector plate and around ice chutes. 3. Dust build-up on dessert station syrup nozzles. Corrective action: Maintain noted areas clean/ sanitized before revisit inspection and between routine inspections. 4. Stab Table: (top) steak burger patties 50 degrees, sliced cheese 46 degrees; (bottom) sliced cheese 45 degrees. Corrective action: Manager discarded out-of-temperature items. 5. Large number of drain flies noted around ice machine and flies in dish room. Corrective action: Develop and implement an Integrated pest management plan before revisit inspection. Employees with certificates must go and get their valid food handler card at Cass County Health Department before the expiration of their certificate. Many non-critical violations corrected. No further reinspection required.
