Kindergarten students honored at assembly

Kindergarten students and teachers at the Harrisonville Early Childhood Center were honored at a recent assembly.

To begin the assembly, kindergarten students recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Each month, the Harrisonville Kiwanis Club presents Terrific Citizen awards to students who exemplify the character trait of the month. October’s character trait was responsibility. The students received a certificate and a Terrific Citizen T-shirt.

In addition to the Terrific Citizens, students are also recognized for their work and behavior in music, art, and physical education classes.

The Mathematician of the Month Award is sponsored by Community Bank of Harrisonville.

Also at this month’s assembly, students with perfect attendance for first quarter were recognized. Those students included Deegan Beachner, Logan Boyle, Bella Caponetto ,Bryson Cecil, Abigail Coffey, Christopher Copeland, Lucas Gustin, Jonathan Harmon, Keller Johnson, Cheyenne Jones, Walker Keim, Isaac Lake, Megan Lalman, Dalton Leimkuehler, Makenzie Mastin, James Murimi, Airyanna Nuzum, Kenadie Percival, Alexis Quinley, Micheal Reynolds, Kaleb King, Corbin Ryberg, Gavin Scheib, Nolan Spinks, Lillian Wade, Gabriella West, Jerika Wiedenmann and Kenzie Wimsatt.
