Landon Levon Stafford, of Warsaw, formerly of Harrisonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, a victim of a house fire. Landon, born July 16, 1977, is survived by his parents, Roberta Stafford, Von and Carrie Stafford, brother Jeremy Stafford, sister Sarah and Todd Eppert, two nephews Todd Michael, Jonathan, two nieces Abigail and Adaline, and grandmother Mary Lou Stafford, all residing in Harrisonville; also grandmother Norma Brewster of Pleasant Hill, aunt Patricia Wyman of Butler, aunt Deidre (Ronnie) Camerer of Adrian, uncle Darrin (Carol) Stafford of Harrisonville; aunt Holly (Doug) Stark, Peculiar; uncle Gary (Sherry) Brewster of Urich, aunt Vicki (Doug) Taylor of Harrisonville, aunt Carolyn (Ron ) Russ of Canby, Ore.

Landon is preceded in death by an infant brother, Lawrence Stafford, III, and grandfathers Albert Brewster and Lawrence Stafford, Sr.

Landon was baptized with the washing of water and the Word of our Saving Lord, Jesus Christ at Grace Baptist Church, Harrisonville.

Landon called the Warsaw area his home since purchasing his lake home in 2011. Landon enjoyed life at the lake with his dogs and truly enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting and was often found helping family and neighbors in both Warsaw and in Harrisonville.

Landon graduated Harrisonville High School and continued his higher education in Wyoming at Wyoming Tech for diesel mechanic training. Landon’s career included working as a diesel mechanic and as a Local 101 Union Operator. Landon also was an operator for Georgetown Railroad.

Family was Landon’s true joy. Landon enjoyed his family and loved them all. He is missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and all.

Family will accept your visit of sympathy and condolences 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested for Shepherd’s Food Pantry of Harrisonville and Stafford Family Cemetery Maintenance Fund.

Inurnment at Stafford Family Cemetery, Bradleyville, will be determined at a future time.
