Sherwood Middle School Student Council had a food drive and a pajama day to benefit the Meals on Wheels program. They collected 139 food items and $100 for the program. The food and check were presented to Jill Jennings and Beverly Stein on Nov. 26 by the SMS student council officers. Volunteers from the Sherwood community deliver meals to the elderly and homebound on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They do not receive any government assistance but rely on donations to help keep the cost of the meals to a minimum.
