Ray-Pec CFO resigns, takes post with Metropolitan Community Colleges

March 7, 2014

Kendra Hutsell, chief financial officer, is resigning from the Ray-Pec School District effective Friday, March 28, to accept the position of Budget Director with the Metropolitan Community Colleges.

The Ray-Pec School Board on Feb. 27 accepted her resignation as part of its monthly board meeting.

Hutsell has worked for the Ray-Pec School District for 15 years.

“I’ve enjoyed working at Ray-Pec and will miss working with the administrators and staff, but I am also looking forward to the challenges and opportunities in my new position,” Hutsell said.

Hutsell and her family live in Pleasant Hill.

Superintendent Kari Monsees said that Hutsell’s knowledge and experience will be missed.

“Kendra Hutsell has been a tremendous supporter of students and staff in the Ray-Pec School District in her role as CFO,” Monsees said. “She is widely respected within our organization and by her peers throughout the state, and she will truly be missed.”

Hutsell’s responsibilities include the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, finance and budgeting.

The search to hire her replacement will begin immediately.
