The Mary Sibley Chapter of the NSDAR

The Mary Sibley Chapter of the NSDAR met March 15 in the Conference Room of Cass Regional Medical Center with 11 members and four guests present.

Marilyn Moreland, regent, led the rituals and the pledge tot he flags. Katrine Cummins read the President General’s message and minutes of the previous meeting.

Phyliss Jones gave a report on the correct ways to salute the flag.

Registration for the State Conference was due April 1. Jane Porter and Cummins were appointed for the nominating committee of new officers. We were reminded of the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day. The Prairie Dells celebrated their 40th anniversary April 5.

The next meeting will be at Tricia Hazelrigg’s home at 9502 E. Seville Circle, Peculiar. Salad luncheon and tea. Please wear your hat and gloves. The program was presented by Louis Petrakos regarding long-term insurance.
