Ervin Allen Bauer, 76, of Rantoul, Kan., died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kan.
Ervin was born in Buffalo County, Neb.

Margery Slaughter died in her home surrounded by love Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She is survived by husband Ivan, four sons, one daughter, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Aldersgate UMC in Lees Summit.

Dennis Lloyd Elliott

Dennis Lloyd Elliott, 57, of Pleasant Hill, was born in Harrisonville, the son of Lloyd Hugh and Fern Ann (Terril) Elliott. He died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City. Visitation was April 23 and funeral services were April 24 at the funeral home. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Keith Nolan Ridgway
May 27, 1950 - April 19, 2014
Keith Nolan Ridgway, 63, of Amoret, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. He was born May 27, 1950, in Clinton to Evelena (Kampe) and James Ridgway. He attended Harrisonville schools his entire life, graduating high school in 1968. He received a two-year certificate from CMSU in architecture drafting. Beverley Ann Egbert and Keith Ridgway were married Sept. 6, 1970.
In 1973, he started working for Kansas City Power and Light at the LaCygne power station as part of the original start-up crew. He was a member of the IBEW, local 412. Keith retired from KCP&L in 2007 after 34 years. Keith was a member of the Amsterdam Baptist Church and Bates County Elks Lodge. Keith loved to fish, hunt and play cards.
Keith leaves behind his wife Beverley of 43 years, two daughters, Lorita Ridgway, of Jolpin, and Peggy Davidson and husband Dennis, of Independence; four grandchildren, Andrew (9), Anthony (6), Alyssa (5), Aliyah (4); a sister, Kathie Smalley and husband Larry, of Harrisonville; sister-in-law, Karen Haase and husband Larry, of Warrensburg; four nephews, lots of family and friends. He will be missed but will always be in our hearts.
Memorial services were April 24 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, with Tom Mitchell officiating.

Annetta C. Sheppard, 76, of Clinton, was born in Cloud Chief, Okla., the daughter of Jim and Bernice (Wilkerson) Hill. She died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton.
