BSD to raise meal prices for 2014-15

May 16, 2014

For the 2014-15 school year, the Belton School District will be required to increase the price of full-price lunch by $0.10 to comply with the federal mandates set by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Meal prices for next school year will be Student Lunch, grades Pre K-6 - $2.35; Student Lunch, grades 7-12 - $2.50; Adult Lunch - $3.45. All reduced lunch, milk, and breakfast prices will remain the same.

Also, as a reminder, all outstanding charges and fees must be paid before the end of school in order to release your student’s grade card.

Please check your student’s meal account balance and make payment for any outstanding charge. To do this, call your student’s school cafeteria or visit Parent Portal to make payments online.

If there is any money remaining in student meal accounts, that money will transfer to next school year. If you have funds remaining on your student’s meal account and require a refund, please call Diane Huckshorn, BSD Food Service Secretary at 816-489-7000 or email
