Civil War Roundtable

Civil War Roundup met May 13 at Pearson Hall. Jay Roberts, vice-president, presided.

Roberts led the group with the pledge and Hank Roberts provided a prayer.

Roberts introduced Hank Roberts, who performed original songs he had composed that reflected incidents of the Civil War.

Minutes were read for April and accepted as presented.

Treasurer’s report was given by Cathy Gottsch showing a balance of $1,448.12.

There was no old business presented.

A discussion of our June meeting resulted in the following decisions: Roberts will reserve a shelter at the park and chicken will be catered from Donna’s. Each member was asked to bring a dessert and a drink. We will eat at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10.

Meeting adjourned.
