BSD to provide free meal service during summer school

June 6, 2014

The Belton School District will be able to provide free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and under during summer school as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Children do not have to be enrolled in summer school to receive this benefit.

Free meals will be served June 9-July 17, Monday through Thursday, at Grace ECC and Education Center, Gladden Elementary, Cambridge Elementary, Scott Elementary, Mill Creek Upper Elementary and Belton High School.

Grace ECCE will have extended availability June 2-July 25. Students at Grace, Cambridge and Gladden also will receive free snacks if they are enrolled in the after-school care program during regular summer school days.

For questions or more information about your student’s lunch account balance, contact Diane Huckshorn at 816-489-7007.
