Belton FFA member wins Championship Riding Saddle

The week of June 23, Kayla Morgan won the National Barrel Horse Association by winning the 2D Missouri State Champion in barrel racing championship by 14.743 seconds with her horse Choctaw in Columbia.

Morgan and Choctaw were awarded the sponsor’s saddle from A.D.M. Animal Nutrition company for their efforts.

Morgan also is in the Missouri Kansas Youth Rodeo Association, and is doing very well in her division.

Morgan’s next event was July 7 participating in western pleasure riding at Area VII FFA District’s at Warrensburg. The week of July 21, Morgan will be going to World Championship Barrel racing.
