Patricia J. “Patti Jo” Stuart, 73, of Butler, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City. She was born June 21, 1941, in Kansas City to Harold and Clariece (Smith) Adams.

Patti Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Stuart; brothers Chick Adams and Jim Adams; as well as a sister, Roxie Adams.

She is survived by her children, son Mike Stuart and wife Julie, with grandchildren Marc, David, Thomas, Becky, Danny, and Katie, and great-grandchildren Bailey, Keller, Harper, and Nora; son Kenny Stuart, with grandchildren Kenneth and Samuel; daughter Christina Wright and husband Steve, with grandchildren Ryan and Hailey; and daughter Maggie Stuart, with grandchildren Karly, TJ and Kenny.

Patti Jo will be remembered as a good wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed.

Cremation. Graveside Memorial Services for Patricia will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Belton Cemetery in Belton, with Greg D. Mullinax officiating. There is no visitation. Services also will memorialize Patricia’s late husband, Kenneth Stuart, and U.S. Military Honors will be conferred on his behalf.
