HHS chooses new assistant principal

July 25, 2014

The Harrisonville Schools Board of Education approved the employment of a new assistant principal at Harrisonville High School during a special meeting July 16.

Mark Rorvig, who has taught Personal Finance at HHS for eight years, will begin as assistant principal July 22.

Rorvig earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from William Jewell College and his teacher certification from the University of Central Missouri. He has a Master’s degree in Secondary Administration from the University of Central Missouri.

Rorvig replaces Jason Beavers, who left the district to serve as principal at Hogan Preparatory Academy.
